![]() In editing mode, create a minor tribal village (hut) right next to your initial units. That refers to the directory data/classic/, which makes me think maybe it is the "classic" ruleset. The in-game documentation describes this as the "civ2civ3" ruleset, but the log entries from the client have entries like:ģ: in secfile_from_input_file() : Reading registry from "data/classic/leset". I don't see any messages that appear to explain why these units cannot enter. I have -log and -debug 3 set on both server and client. I understand from the in-game documentation on minor tribe villages that any land unit should be able to enter a village. They don't display an error message, but they don't enter. I send worker, diplomat, settler, and warrior to the hut, and they do not enter. This is always better than doing tons of clicks for only one planet to colonize/expand to maximum and I'm sure most players would appreciate it.Running server and gtk3.22 client from master branch on macOS X 10.13.6 High Sierra, starting a server with either the classic or civ2civ3 ruleset (I'm not sure), my early-game land units cannot enter huts (minor tribe villages). It also (the overview screens) gives me a nice overview where which building is possibly missing by just trying it out (you need to play FreeCiv perhaps to get me right here). This is how I play FreeCiv and I really like it a lot. Click OK (all items in the work list are being added to that planet's production queue so they will be constructed) Click (needs to be added somewhere) "Use work list" -> select your work list you have created to fully expand that planet I'll assume you have colonized a planet here But work a work list, once created, a round may take only a couple of seconds (10-20 depending on your empire's size) + only a few clicks: When I colonize a new planet, I build all what it needs to let life spread on it, that are about - with all researched except those extremely expensive - 20 buildings I'm going to construct + terraforming (that is what I may have to do manually).Ī round without work lists tooks me severtal minutes as my empire is really large (and I like to "own" the whole universe, no in real life. "Auto-Self-repair" technology (research proposal) based on nano-technology (research that first) which superseeds manual repair but is "expensive" to research (many RPs + rounds) Later possible mass-repair? Do they get damages by attacks? If so, this would be a good place to repair all damaged buildings from one screen only with a few clicks Allows mass-destruction of buildings on all planets constructed a "Gateway to the Void" building by mistake on some planets it would be very hard with large universes (200+ solar systems) to find them by manually browsing through all systems and planets Similar to above but for all buildings in your entire empire Manual repair is not required if the species have researched "auto-self-repair" You can dismentle/manually repair them all at once or. Breaks up (some sort of "grouping") your entire empire per unit (you see all units in one screen) I also would welcome similar screens to FreeCiv's "Units" and "Economy" screens. ![]() If a building is already been built on that planet, add it anyway (which would result in that it will never finish) or ignore it (based on new configuration: "Ignore already constructed buildings from work lists?"). Select all planets: Allows easy marking of all planets currently shown + Unhabitated are astroids/giant gas planets Lists all colonized/unhabitated/controlled planets: ![]() These work lists can then easily be "applied" on planets to allow adding a lot buildings with only some clicks. Two-sided sceeen, left side shows already added buildings/units, right shows available buildings/units Add/remove buildings/units to/from a work list "Colonize Planet", "Colonize Astroit", "Upgrade Astroit", etc.) Create/Edit/Delete work lists (with giving them all names, e.g. This will give the player the ability to play the game more efficient and less time-consuming (and lesser mouse clicks). So why not adapt this idea from there to here? I already use them in FreeCiv to quickly add a lot buildings to a city. While playing your game on large scale (200+ planets) I came up with the idea of "work lists".
